The PTO (Parent Teacher Organization) at Central High School is an organization of parents, teachers, administrators, and community members. Our goal is to encourage volunteer work at our school in order to build a stronger community. We accomplish this by first getting out the information to parents so they can be more involved their child’s school. While some members of the PTO are able to volunteer time, we value the memberships of all parents regardless of their time donated. The PTO contributes to Central High School in many ways, such as helping in the library, decorating at school functions, serving and sending food for teacher snack days, hosting the teacher Christmas party, helping with various school projects, and working in the spirit store. The funds for these activities come from the annual PTO membership fees and profits from CHS merchandise sold at the spirit store located at the football stadium. The PTO also collects Community coffee labels.
