DUTCHTOWN - The Wildcat Band had a strong first run of "Icarus" this morning at the Dutchtown Invitational Marching Contest. The group received a rating of Excellent in Auxiliary and Overall Band (combined scores of Ensemble Music, Visual, and General Effect). Percussion received a Superior Rating. The band was awarded 2nd place in Class A for Overall Band (Music, Visual, and GE).
NSU - The Wildcat Band received a rating of Excellent (II) in Percussion and a rating of Superior (I) in Auxiliary (Kittens/Silks) and Overall Band. Percussion took FIRST PLACE in Class II and Auxiliary took FIRST PLACE in Class II The group finished in SECOND PLACE overall in Class II with a combined total score of 84.5! The band earned the highest music score in its class and finished 10th out of 23 bands across all classifications.
