Central High’s Concert Choir, Treble Choir, and Band made a strong impression at the LMEA District 4 Festival, each earning Sweepstakes ratings, the highest honor awarded. Both groups are headed to state after spring break!
From the control and blend of the choirs to the band’s precision and sound, each group showed the results of months of practice and attention to detail. Performing under pressure and still earning top marks across the board is no small feat.
Having multiple ensembles bring home Sweepstakes speaks to the consistency and work ethic of Central’s music program. It was a big day for these students and a proud moment for the school! Wish each of them luck as they perform in Natchitoches for the LMEA State Festival!
